Tropical Green Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

½ banana, frozen or fresh

½ cup pineapple, frozen

½ avocado

½ cup kale (or spinach), frozen

1 Tbsp chia seeds

8 cashews, raw

1 cup almond milk, unsweetened

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Chop fruits.

  2. Place all measured ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

  3. Add water for a thinner consistency or add ice for a thicker consistency. Enjoy!

Need to bump your protein intake? Add a serving of your favorite protein powder to the smoothie. Add the protein powder after you reach the smooth consistency and just do a short blend to incorporate the protein powder.
